Using the Law of Attraction - KNOW What You Want!
Thanks for coming back! Please leave a comment or let me know what topics you would like to read about. I appreciate your visits. Linda

Just like in the old TV drama, Dragnet, when the Sargent would say, “Just the facts, m’am.” Well that’s what I am going to give you today.
The facts.
Most people never get what they want for three simple reasons:
- People don’t ask for what they want! How can anyone or the Universe help you, if you don’t tell them what you want? Do you expect them to read your mind? Let’s make it easy on everyone - ASK!
- When people do ask for what they want, they ask the wrong people. I know I am guilty of this one. Most of the time, we don’t want to ask our family and friends for their help. We’re afraid we’ll insult them or put them in an uncomfortable position. But think about this folks. Who is more motivated to help you - a stranger or your family and friends? Unless you caused them not to, who knows you, likes you and trusts you the most? That’s right. Your close family and friends. So ASK your family and friends to help you get what you want in your life. You don’t know what the Universe has in store - they may know someone who knows someone who is the exact person you need for your business, career, or hobby! And your family and friends would be so glad to highly recommend you or get an appointment for you.
- When people do ask for help, what they ask for is too vague. How can someone help you if you really don’t know exactly what you want. Here’s an example. You want to start a new business. So you ask some of your friends for business referrals. They ask you what kind of business do you want to start or what products and services are you going to sell. And you say, “I’m not sure. I just know I want to start a business because I hate my job.” Well, that is so undefined, your friends won’t be able to help you out with referrals. I’m exaggerating a tad, but not too much.
So when you’re “dreaming”, what do you dream about the most? Do you have a recurring reverie or do you rove over all the possibilities? If you answer, “I don’t know” or your mind goes blank, then it’s time to take a stand! You need to have a direction, purpose and a perspective. You need to make a decision to go for a specific something! Otherwise, you’ll be in la-la land for the rest of your life wondering what happened.
Don’t be like other dream seekers who never decide on WHAT they want to do in their lives. Don’t be befuddled by all the available choices you have. Pick one! Don’t worry if it isn’t the “right” thing you were meant to be or do in life. By not making any choice, you’ll never find the “one thing” either. Know that as you make your choices, you can always change them and do something else. The point is to make a choice and then ASK and ACT.
If you don’t make a choice and don’t go for a dream, then you’re settling. You are settling for whatever comes along because it’s easy and you can say you didn’t make the wrong decision. This IS the path of least resistance. And, it’s a BIG MISTAKE. You’re making the wrong decision because you didn’t make a decision!
Are you in this mode of thinking? Have you been settling? If so, it’s time to redesign your life! Make a choice. Go for a dream. It’s time to have a life the way you always wanted it to be rather than having someone else choose for you. Here’s some great advice to heed:
“Take care to get what you like or you will be forced to like what you get.”~ George Benard Shaw
Allow yourself some time tonight to think about what you really, really, really want in your life. Write it down. Visualize what your life would be like. Then be inspired by your intuition (your expanded Self) and take one action step tomorrow that will get you started on the pathway to living your dream!
Chat with you later,
Linda
