Wow!  What a show.

I had an ACN Premier Party at my house to watch the Celebrity Apprentice.  It was exciting to share the two hours with my friends and family.  It was even more exciting since I was at the taping of the show in NYC at the Capitale.

My friends were asking where I was sitting and what else was going on.

Well, for one thing, the show didn’t air the entire 10 minute presentations that each of the teams gave.  Team Athena had a vignette with a deployed military dad talking with his family.  Joan Rivers also talked about how she was going to use the phone all the time because she’ll be able to see her grand kids in California.  Team Kotu’s video of the soldier was much longer.  Brian McKnight also talked about how the video phone will bring him closer to his family as he travels around for his shows.  Both teams said their friends and colleagues thought the ACN Video Phone was a fabulous service and product.  The ACN Video phone would make their time away from home much easier to deal with.

I remember thinking at the time “hey, I never thought that they would feel like “us” - every day people who miss their loved ones while traveling.”  One of the coolest things about the ACN Video Phone is that you can take it with you when you do travel.  Connect it to a high speed Internet connection and you can call home and SEE as well as talk to your family.  (Of course, you need to have an ACN Video phone at home too!)  My husband and I have two video phones so we can do this.

A friend of mine took his video phone with him to Hong Kong.  When we chatted on the phone, he showed me what Hong Kong looked like up close and personal.  Another time he went home to New Zealand and called me from there.  I am in awe that I was able to do some world traveling all through the ACN Video phone!

Well it’s getting late.  I chat with you some more about the show and other behind the scenes observations tomorrow.

Today started out like an ordinary day.

Tonight it turned into an mind-blowing one.

Just got off a conference call about what will be happening when the ACN Video Phone Launch is aired on the Celebrity Apprentice on March 22, 2009 at 9 PM EDT.  The Global Marketing VP said there will be over 20 million viewers!

WOW.

Another cool thing I found out is that Mr. Donald Trump asked the ACN Company Founders to be on the show.  Mr. Trump LOVES the ACN Video Phone.  He’s stated that the Video Phone is at the cusp of one of the greatest technological changes of our times.  And we are a part of this wave that is bound to be an exciting and thrilling ride.

What a marketing coup!

Just imagine.  You have a business.  Then you “fall” into this unprecedented opportunity for your product or service to become the “star” on prime time TV.  History has shown that all of the companies featured on an episode of The Apprentice experienced an almost immediate and significant increase in revenue and growth!

Master marketers dream and drool over having an once in a life time chance of manifesting such exponential and instantaneous results!

And that’s not all.  Think about this.

What is even more amazing is that this massive marketing exposure is available to an individual like me with a small business.  I pinch myself to make sure this is REALLY happening. That I am going to be part of it!

So far in my life time, I never had such a huge national and international outreach available to me.  It wouldn’t have been possible because I didn’t have the capability of acquiring the enormous financial resources required for a venture of this magnitude!  In fact, most small business owners probably never think that an event like this would happen to them and for them.

I never, ever imagined this possibility for my business in my wildest dreams.

Who would have thought the Jetsons’ Visaphone would be a REAL reality today?

I watched the Jetsons when I was a kid.  I thought the visaphone was really cool.  I wondered if there would ever be a real video phone.  Along with space travel and all the other gadgets the Jetsons had.  Now look what we take for granted in our daily lives.  We do have a version of the micro wave, the personal computers and screens … and now the Video Phone!

Soon, space travel will be a reality too.

I’m in awe.

I personally own three video phones.  I use one for a demo so my potential customers can try the video phone out.  They get to “play” with it and have fun seeing the people they talk with.  One of my business partners has created an entirely new comedy medium via the ACN Video Phone.  I love doing demonstrations with Doug - he is hoot showing how the video quality is superb … as if we were watching TV.

I have one of my video phones connected to my network via a wireless game adapter.  This gives me the capability to use my phone anywhere in the house … especially outside on our deck or porch.  Then I can show off the mountains and the beautiful blue Colorado skies.

Every time I use my video phone, I am in awe.  It’s one of those moments when a person realizes she is living in marvelous and wondrous times.  Video phones bring great joy and closer connections.  I feel this new technology will help bring our world closer together and perhaps foster more peace and harmony than we’ve ever had before.

More to come … I hope I can get to sleep … this is so exciting and mind-boggling!
